Kelli Malcolm Pettigrew - Sweet Petals Bake Shop
I come from a long line of women who loved to cook and entertain. Good, strong southern cooks who counted among their greatest joys the ability to show their love for others through the creation of good food, sweets and treats - consummate entertainers and hostesses. Cooking for me is therapeutic and baking is my favorite food and artistic expression. I hope you enjoy my work and if you do, please tell your friends!
Kelli is a Christian business owner and marketing leader who is passionate about business growth, and empowering women to pursue their passions and encourage each other through the transformational power that comes from transparently sharing life experiences. She loves good food, decorating, beauty, fashion and all things Southern. Kelli is also a part-time blogger and owner of Grace & Gumption Lifestyle in addition to Sweet Petals Bake Shop. Kelli has lived and worked in Madison County since coming to Indiana in 1995. Kelli loves baking cakes, cookies, cupcakes and specialty desserts and anything chocolate! She is a mother to Rachel (32) and Jon Kelly (12) and soon to be grandmother for the first time. Her hobbies include interior design, boating, reading, spending time with family and friends and cooking!
THE REAL ME
Like many of you, I am a mother, business woman, and sandwich generation daughter trying to keep it all together on a weekly basis. Balancing career, faith, family, and friendships sometimes feel like a battle rather than a blessing. Sometimes it takes, well, gumption. Don't you just love that word? It means tenacity, pluck, initiative. It's such an action-oriented word! We are only limited by our own boundaries - be your confident, expressive and talented self!
